Not only is this a good retinol substitute, I actually think it works better for my skin and I've noticed a significant difference in my complexion. I'm about 2/3 through my first bottle and my skin looks much more even and smooth. It's definitely helped with fine lines too, and I love the light and silky texture. I use it in the morning, followed with a hyaluronic acid and I think I've finally found my dream skincare combination! (I was using the hyaluronic acid previously without this Bakuchiol and my skin was not as good). Will definitely be repurchasing this, forever!! :)

I have trouble with traditional retinol so this retinol alternative was appealing to me. I have been using it for a few weeks and can confirm I am seeing improved skin texture and smoothness. The bakuchiol goes on silky and gives me a nice sheen before bed and in the morning I have a nice glow that I haven't seen for a long time. Extra points for it being plant based and cruelty free. This is my new go to for anti ageing.
